L'Abri Bed And Breakfast - Akaroa

The staff was excellent and welcoming. The place was clean, and I booked the deluxe queen room with harbour views, which was first-class. The setting was incredible, close to the mountains of Akaroa and downtown. I truly enjoyed having an electric kettle, central heating, and an iron in the room. The bed was comfy, and the breakfast was delicious.

the location was stunning, at a walking distance from genting casino. the bus stop was 10 minutes' walk away. the breakfast was delicious and amazing with orange and main courses to choose from and fresh eggs and had something for everyone.

The personnel was excellent, and the host too. Overall it was well-appointed and well-equipped, with a private bathroom. Location: the hotel was right by Christchurch, the mountains and a very short drive form Akaroa.

I really enjoyed my stay in the spacious units with impressive views at this hotel.

The breakfast was divine, featuring fresh eggs from their own hens and a delightful variety of food. The setting was marvelous, just a short walk to stunning gardens and offering glimpses of Takamatua Bay, creating a very private retreat in the heart of Akaroa, complete with refreshments nearby.

The views from the bedrooms were stunning and the attention to detail in the rooms was excellent. A delicious vegan breakfast was provided and the cottage had a cozy country feel. The luxurious Nespresso machine was a nice touch. The host gave great recommendations for dining.

I recently stayed at L'Abri and it was the perfect place for a relaxing weekend break. The accommodation was top-notch, with lots of thoughtful details and attention to detail. The views of the beautiful gardens and bird life were stunning, and the rooms felt private and comfortable. The shared lounge was a lovely space to unwind in. Jane, the host, was incredibly warm and welcoming, and her breakfasts were absolutely delicious. L'Abri provided a truly delightful experience with its beautiful setting and great hospitality.

From the moment we arrived, she made us feel right at home. the cottage nestled amidst her stunning garden was warm, cozy, and had everything we needed for a truly relaxing stay. Jane's attention to detail was evident in every aspect of our visit, from her beautiful floral arrangements to her delicious home-baked treats. the gourmet breakfast she served us in the main house was a highlight, with breathtaking views of the mountains and water. Spending Christmas at a cozy B&B was a great idea! the fresh breakfast was a real highlight, with homemade preserves and eggs. We also enjoyed the stunning views of the hills from our dining area. the room was comfortable and the linen was of high quality. We appreciated the nice touches of fresh flowers and sweets in the room.

The lack of a mini-fridge in the room could have been slightly inconvenient. it got quite hot in the afternoon, and a ceiling fan would have been helpful.

Breakfast was homemade and delicious, with fresh fruit and warm croissants. the garden was a delightful spot to relax in the idyllic surroundings.

The Wi-Fi was limited and didn't always work, which made it challenging to keep in touch with family back home.

I indulged in a delectable breakfast, with freshly cooked croissants, homemade yogurt, and muesli. The tranquility of the beautiful grounds and gardens made my stay truly relaxing. The Garden Cottage was an ideal romantic retreat, surrounded by flowers and birdlife. The private deck allowed me to enjoy the stunning natural surroundings in complete privacy. I loved the fact that the eggs for breakfast came from the chickens happily roaming in the garden. The beautiful Takamatua Bay offered a picturesque view, and I enjoyed strolling along the waterfront. The complimentary WiFi was an added bonus, keeping me connected throughout my stay.
